Part Two -- Take a Guided Tour Around Our Sixty Acres
I was keen to see the many springs that are the source of the water in the several streams on the property, so Henry took me up a stream, using a technique he called "charging" whereby you hike in the stream bed, clambering over and around the rocks, plants and waterfalls.
This picture shows the dense terrain, with a little of the stream surrounded by a common plant called dog-hobble (click picture to see a larger version).
